Lil Bougie and the Ball Busters
Swami's take: Back in the win column for Russ and Eddie. Looked like SS duo was a little out matched at 2 and 2. APB officially out for Candlestick!
Line 2 · Doubles
1ptMatt Dean / Mark FerrervsTony Priola / Greg Gorden
6-4, 3-6, 1-0
Lil Bougie and the Ball Busters
Swami's take: Lil Nadal feeling pretty good at 6 and 1 coming into Saturday's match. Felt like I was having a good run on the back jack table and they brought in an oriental to "cool" things off and stop the momentum. Plenty of chances for SS once they came back in the 2nd set. Have to give credit to FerrMagic and Mattie Ice. Took control in the TSTB late by saving a couple of close one's. Lil Nadal and the Cooler left 2nd guessing themselves in the end.
Line 3 · Doubles
1ptJack Blossman / Burt DaltonvsDavid Parnell / Javier Rodriguez
6-0, 6-2
Spin Seekers
Swami's take: JRod we missed you. MVP front runner keeps up winning streak and helps Parnell to his 2nd Bentleague victory this year. Great win over Jaybo and the ex Tinder King.
Line 4 · Doubles
1ptMike Mesa / George LampardvsAndrew McQuaid / Kevin Phayer
6-3, 7-6
Spin Seekers
Swami's take: Another good win for Spin Seekers. Note to Capt. , these two make a great pairing. The squirrel has the right temperament to put up with Big Burrito's shenanigans at the net. Both now at 2 and 4 heading in the right direction.
Line 5 · Doubles
1ptDoug Autin / Paul GuidottivsJoshua Clark / Pat lorca
7-6, 6-7, 1-0
Spin Seekers
Swami's take: Bottom three lines carry the day for Spin Seekers. Great win in a stressful TSTB for Josh and Patricio. All three sets were nail biters. I know Josh needed that vape after this one. Don't look now but Mr. Lorca is 2 and Oh.

Line 1 · Doubles
1ptNick Thompson / Ed DauterivevsMark Fair / Addison Melancon
3-6, 6-2
String Theory
Swami's take: Is the Ego finally hitting mid-season form? I know he is glad to see Addi by his side after the failed parity pairing experiment on Thursday. Hurricane aimed at Florida cancelling some beach plans for Addi worked in Steve's favor. No one was happier than the Ego. Pretty convincing victory too over Dr. Death and Tricky. Their success was short lived after Thursday's flash of success.
Line 2 · Doubles
1ptJohn Hearn / Robert GroeneveldvsMax Agnew / Chris Kobrock
7-5, 6-1
String Theory
Swami's take: Welcome back to the win column Fabio and Kobrock. Glad Steve didn't give up on these two. Hitman and Sundial played a tight first set, but you can see their heart wasn't into it after dropping the first 7-5.
Line 3 · Doubles
1ptSeth Monaghan / Cayman SinclairvsRobby Economides / Hal Nietzchman
6-3, 6-4
String Theory
Swami's take: No looking over your shoulder here Captain Starfish. In all honesty, Swami sees a mismatch on paper and is not surprised by the outcome. Redbull Robbie and Hairy Hal should win this one.
Line 4 · Doubles
1ptJeff St. Romain / Eric DaiglevsMark Mills / Doug Dillon
6-7, 7-5
String Theory
Swami's take: Match of the day! Great way to end Saturday tennis with the crowd up close. Did Millsie touch the ball on his failed overhead. He said "no" but the crowd wasn't so sure. Swami was impressed with Double D's tennis game. Double D's backhand held up under pressure and with Millsie's forehand combo, the pair proved worthy of the W. Good thing is that no one gave away the match, victory was earned. Unless the ball hit Mark's racket!
Line 5 · Doubles
1ptWill Blossman / Ernie AndersonvsBrad Humphreys / Joshua Walker
6-3, 2-6
String Theory
Swami's take: And, ... Just like that, Brad has his 2nd Bentleague victory in two years. Will the Thrill and the Patriarch brought the battle, but Josh and BHump had the answers and a little more consistency. One more and you will reach .500 Belding. Inquiring minds and the betting world can't wait.
Totals
Lil Bougie = 29
Spin Seekers = 25
Starfish = 24
String Theory = 18
Swami's Quick Observations (SQO): String Theory returns the favor and Sweeps Starfish. Propels team right back into the mix with 36 points still out there for the taking. Can Lil Boosie hold the rope? Who will step up when Russell and Shane have to sit having played eight matches already. Foresee Round 4 as the "make your move" round, as others will have to suit up. Team Depth will be the topic of the round, and we'll finally get to see what Captains did best on draft day.
